Perfect for Vancouver weather

JuiceBox Vancouver BC December 06, 2017
Gortex is the best for rainy days in Vancouver, much better than a raincoat. When you don't need it, it fits easily in the backpack. It's so multi-purpose that it can be worn to work and still look professional (black color) or to camping/hiking without worrying too much about the sudden change of weather.

Gore-Tex® Paclite® shell rocks

DNG Vancouver BC June 17, 2017
The Gore-Tex® Paclite® shell is great. It is waterproof & windproof without the usual Gore-Tex stiffness and weight. This jacket is soft like a fleece jacket and only weights 360 grams ! This is a prefect spring/summer jacket for the Vancouver rain. I got the light grey color and looks great for both weekend hikes and weekday over my dress shirt and pant. The fit and cutting is perfect with enough room for a mid layer. Great jacket, thanks North Face.

Great lightweight, waterproof jacket

cg Kelowna, BC May 31, 2017
Excellent waterproof and breathable shell. The jacket is thinner than my other rain shells but is durable enough and weighs in at only 350 grams. Good fit - I am 6 feet tall and weigh 190 and the large is a perfect fit. It packs down nice and small and will always be stuffed in my pack for hiking & camping trips as great rain insurance.

The perfect all arounder

El Sharc St John's May 31, 2017
This jacket is ''bullet proof'' and still lightweight. The pockets are a nice addition and the pit vents were a must for me. The material definitely feels super durable and so are the zippers. Perfect for rain, wind and snow!

Great for wind and water

Captain Caveman Toronto May 05, 2017
I believe that this coat is the same as TNF Dryzzle. An uninsulated Gore-Tex shell that is great for staying dry during extended exposure to torrential rain. The water rolls/dries off very quickly after going indoors. Also surprisingly breathable. I would buy it again.

Great Shell

DeeBerries Calgary, AB April 18, 2017
I wear this thing year round. Worn in summer with minimal layers under. Underarm vents are great when you get too hot. Worn in winters with many layers under. Great in rain, snow, hail & wind. Great shell and would recommend !

Perfect for Rain

edge Edmonton June 14, 2016
Brought this jacket with me backpacking through jasper. Overall the jacket kept me dry in light rain. The jacket is decently sized and light when packed. Another huge bonus is that the jacket makes great armour from mosqutos.
Pros:
Great features, Packs Small / Compresses, Lightweight, versatile
Cons:
Pricey / Poor Value

North Face Gore Tex Rain Jacket

Sue the hiker Ottawa, ON April 21, 2015
Wear this while hiking carrying my backpack. Keeps me fairly dry unless I'm walking in prolonged rain of two hours or more. Dries quickly and takes little space when not needed. Great as a windbreaker also. Roomy enough to wear warm fleece underneath. Looking forward to trying it out on my next Camino instead of carrying my much heavier Ferrino full length poncho.
Pros:
Water Resistant, Lightweight, Roomy, Breathable
Cons:
Velcro At Wrists Unsticks
