Great stand-alone or layering piece!

Voltion Toronto, ON, Canada March 20, 2017
This is an excellent piece. I tried it on in store and instantly fell in love with it. The poly-merino blend is amazing. I usually still find merino pieces still too itchy (Icebreaker tees) but the blend seems to take away that itchiness and is very soft. It's an amazing stand-alone piece that is great for milder weather. The windbreaker does a great job of cutting wind, even if it only covers the anterior portion of the body, except lower bicep and below. My personal biggest con to this jacket is the baggier nature of it through the mid torso and arms. I understand that its meant to be commuter piece which makes sense for the additional length through the arms and hem. But the WIDTH through the arms and mid torso seems rather excessive. You've already made the back of the garment fully a fleece piece that has stretch, so the reduced bulk of fabric would have been nice to see. Through the arms, they are rather large in diameter. I'm not a big guy but it's almost as if I should have body-building level biceps which is kind of unrealistic. It would be nice to see if the arms could be slimmed down a bit, especially since they are already articulated.
Pros:
comfortable, poly-merino blend is exceptionally comfortable, excellent material choice
Cons:
little baggy
